Devlog #5 - Update 3 Preview
Hey all,
I'm back again with another update for what's next for the asset pack. You might've noticed that I hinted what I'm working at in the cover image but if you didn't, here is the same picture:
I'm working on more gameplay-related stuff 🧩, I'm also slowly going over existing assets that I think could use the touchup -- which is in this case, would be the waterfall!
You can expect me to do these incremental updates to previous assets with each update, where needed. I think this is the best path forward regarding updates to previous assets as it allows me to still put in new additions while also considering how it affects already existing assets, so each update will usually look like:
New Update = New Stuff + Old Stuff Reworked
And as usual, you can also expect (where applicable) the assets shown to be animated!
I've got more in store for you from what I've displayed here (yes, even with the ones shown in the cover image), additions that I think should help you build a more complete game so please look forward to the upcoming update!
It's a pretty sizeable update (for a one-man team at least, there's quite a number of states for each asset I'm working on atm) so it might take me a while to complete them but at the earliest, you can expect me to be back with more news in another week or two from this post.
